Andrea is the Marketing Director at Koa, a Swiss-Ghanaian startup dedicated to upcycling the cocoa fruit to make a positive social impact. After having worked as a press officer for different brands and companies, she joined the startup in its early days with the goal to transform the cocoa sector and create ingredients that not only excite consumers but also benefit cocoa-growing communities in Ghana.
In her session at Confectionery Live, Andrea will discuss will share Koa’s journey in upcycling the cacao fruit, not only adding value to the supply chain but also creating responsible ingredients with applications in the food and beverage sector.
